Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital

We are located over in B'-Block of Defence Colony. It’s a well-known spot in this part of Delhi and people usually find us without any trouble. Being a homoeopathic college and a hospital means there’s always something going on around here. We have students coming in for their morning lectures and then you have the patients waiting in the OPD areas at the same time. It’s a bit of a mix of different people. The building has that older feel to it, not like those new private hospitals made of shiny steel and glass. People come here because they’ve heard about our doctors from someone else or they just live nearby. We have different departments for various ailments. The students are usually busy with their books or following the senior doctors around the wards to see how things are done. It’s a learning place first and foremost. We keep things pretty simple in the corridors. The hallways are usually full of people and the smell of various medicines is everywhere. It’s not a quiet place, especially during the peak morning hours. We’ve been in Defence Colony for many years now. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. We just open the doors and the doctors start seeing people who need help. The hospital part runs right alongside the teaching, so it's quite practical for the students to see how things actually work with real patients. It’s a busy, everyday medical college and hospital.
