National United Engineering & Contracting Co. Llc, Oman

This is the main office for National United Engineering & Contracting Co. LLC. Even though it is an Oman-based company, we run things from here in New Delhi. You can find us at N-37, on the 2nd floor of Abul Fazal Enclave-I in Jamia Nagar. Mr. Md. Obaid Alam is the person who keeps everything running smoothly in this office. It is a bit of a mix of tasks, dealing with engineering projects and contracting work while being tucked away in the Okhla area. The office stays pretty busy with people coming in and out to discuss various projects we have going on. We handle a lot of the back-end coordination for the actual construction work that is happening elsewhere. This isn't a fancy corporate headquarters with a lobby; it is just a working office where we manage the tiny details that matter. Engineering can get very complicated, so we spend a lot of our time looking at drawings and going over contracts until our eyes hurt. Being in Jamia Nagar means it is a lively area with plenty of energy right outside the door. We just try to stay on top of the piles of paperwork and ensure the engineering side is handled correctly. There are a lot of long hours involved and we drink way too much tea to stay awake. We don't go in for any fancy branding or big promises. We just focus on the contracting jobs and making sure we meet our obligations.
