Mott Macdonald

Our office is tucked away at R 70 Jogabai Ext in Jamia Nagar. It is a very busy part of town, always with lots of people and rickshaws moving around outside the doors. Mott Macdonald has this location so the team can get their work done without having to travel into the more expensive or crowded parts of the city center. The space is very functional. We have our desks, some old chairs, and a lot of folders stacked up in the corners. It is a bit cramped when everyone is in the office at the same time, but we make it work somehow. We do a lot of environmental and infrastructure work from this branch. The air in Jamia Nagar can be a bit thick with the street food smells, which usually makes us hungry long before lunch even starts. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or expensive art. We would much rather have good computers and fast software. Most of the staff are just regular folks who know their way around a spreadsheet or a technical drawing. We have a lot of meetings around a small wooden table that barely fits all of us. It gets really noisy when the market nearby is in full swing. We just close the windows and keep on typing. It is a humble spot, but we get a lot of work out of it. We do not pretend to be something we are not. We are just an engineering firm with a local office in a crowded, lively neighborhood.
