If you ever find yourself on Ignou Road in New Delhi, you might pass by our place at 65/4 in the Saidulajaib Extension. This is where we run Metso Minerals India Pvt. Ltd. It is a bit of a busy road, especially with all the students and locals moving about, but our office is a steady point in all that movement. We have been here for a while now and have gotten to know the rhythms of the street. It’s not a fancy high-rise, just a practical space where we can sit down and get our work done. We handle a lot of the logistical and administrative side of the mineral industry from this very spot. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of files. We don’t see the need for a lot of decorations or corporate branding inside. We prefer to keep things simple and honest. The atmosphere is usually pretty quiet, which helps when we are trying to figure out some of the more complicated parts of our projects. Sometimes we step out for a break and see the hustle and bustle of Saidulajaib, which is a nice contrast to the quiet work we do inside. It’s a decent place to be based, and we are quite comfortable with the setup we have here. No big bells and whistles, just a group of people working hard and staying focused on the tasks we have each day.
