Maya Eye & Laser Centre

Maya Eye & Laser Centre is located over in the Bhogal area, specifically on Jangpura Road near Brahmapuri. It is a very lively part of Delhi with a lot of narrow streets and small shops selling everything from clothes to hardware. Our building stands out a bit on the main road. We spend most of our time looking into people's eyes and figuring out why their vision isn't as clear as it used to be. We have different machines for testing and some laser equipment in the back rooms that we use throughout the day. The lighting inside is kept a bit dim in some areas because it is better for the eye exams and keeps the patients comfortable. People come from all over Bhogal and the surrounding parts of South Delhi to see us. Some just need a new pair of glasses, while others have more serious things like cataracts or infections that need looking at. The front desk is usually busy with people trying to fix their appointment times or asking about the different prices for frames. We have a glass display of glasses on one wall which always needs cleaning because of all the finger marks from people trying them on. The staff stays busy cleaning the lenses and helping people find a pair that actually fits their face properly. It gets quite hot in the summer, so the air conditioner is always running. It is a practical, hardworking place where the focus is just on getting people to see better.
