Makkah Eye Hospital

This version of Makkah Eye Hospital is situated at D-247-248 in Abul Fazal Enclave, right in the heart of Jamia Nagar. Being in New Delhi, specifically in this part of Okhla, means we are always in the middle of a lot of activity. The hospital spans a couple of units to accommodate all the patients who come through. We spend our days looking at eyes and helping people figure out why their vision isn't what it used to be. It’s a very practical environment. You’ll see charts on the walls and specialized chairs in the exam rooms. The registration desk is usually the busiest spot, with people signing in and asking questions about their appointments. We have a mix of staff, some who have been here since we opened and others who are newer. It’s a lot of work keeping the schedule on track, and sometimes we fall behind when a case is complicated. We don't use much fancy talk here. We just explain what we see and what can be done. The neighborhood is loud, but inside we try to keep it professional for the patients. We deal with everything from simple eye drops to more involved procedures. It’s a necessary part of life in the enclave. We just stay focused on the patients sitting in front of us each day.
