Makkah Eye Hospital

Over at D-247 AFE in Jamia Nagar, you’ll find Makkah Eye Hospital. We mostly deal with people who are having trouble seeing clearly or need their eyes checked. Okhla is a busy area, so there’s always a lot of foot traffic outside our doors. Inside, it’s a bit more focused. We have different machines for testing vision and rooms where the doctors do their examinations. It’s not a huge place, but we fit a lot into the space we have. People come in for cataracts, new glasses, or just general eye irritation. The waiting room is usually full of people waiting their turn. We try to keep things moving, but eye exams can take time, especially for the older patients. The staff knows how to handle the equipment and helps people feel a bit more relaxed about their tests. It’s a straightforward operation here in Jamia Nagar. We don't spend much time on decorations; we just make sure the lights work and the chairs are decent. Most of our visitors live nearby and just walk over. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so the cooling units are always running. We’ve been seeing the same faces for years, along with plenty of new ones. It’s just what we do every day, checking eyes and helping folks see a little better.
