Larsen &Toubro (L&T)

You can find us over at F-57 / 11 on the first floor of a building on Allama Iqbal Road. This is right in the middle of Batla House in Jamia Nagar, New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it is incredibly crowded and full of life. There’s always someone shouting, a rickshaw bell ringing, or the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Our office for Larsen & Toubro is just a small part of that massive energy. It is a first-floor space, so we get to look down at the street and see everything happening below. The stairs are a bit narrow, and the building has that lived-in feel that you only get in older parts of the city. Inside, we just have our desks and some old chairs. It isn't a place for fancy meetings or showing off. We are mostly busy with the day-to-day things, trying to stay organized in such a chaotic area. The internet can be hit or miss sometimes, and the power goes out now and then, but we just keep going. We don't have a mission statement plastered on the wall or anything like that. We are just a group of people working in Jamia Nagar, doing what needs to be done. It is a very real, very human place to work, far away from the polished corporate towers you see in the news. We like being right here in the mix of things.
