Larsen & Toubro Ltd

You can find Larsen & Toubro Ltd tucked away in Sb-05 of the Vindhyachal Hostel. Being right inside the IIT Delhi campus in Hauz Khas means there’s always a lot of energy around us. Students are constantly walking past the door, talking about their exams or where they should go to get dinner. The room is small, which is typical for a hostel, but we’ve made it work for our specific needs. We have our equipment tucked into the corners and enough cables on the floor to trip over if you aren't careful. It gets quite loud during the day when the corridor is full of people, but it settles down late at night. New Delhi weather is always a topic of conversation here, either it’s too hot or it’s finally starting to get a bit chilly. We spend a lot of time staring at our screens and checking over various documents. The furniture is very basic, mostly just what was already provided by the hostel management when we moved in. There’s a specific smell of old paper and dust that you just get used to after a week. We don’t really have visitors often, but when we do, they usually have to navigate through the maze of campus roads to find us. It’s a functional space, nothing more and nothing less. We are just a small part of the massive ecosystem here at the institute, doing our bit every day.
