Lalit Vanjani & Co. is located at 80/73-B on the first floor in Malviya Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood, so there is always noise from the street coming up through the windows. Our office is filled with the usual things you’d expect—calculators, pens, and lots and lots of paper files. We spend most of our time going through bank statements and making sure people are following the tax rules. It’s a lot of detailed work, and sometimes your eyes get tired from looking at the screen for too long. We have a small team, and we all know each other’s habits by now. There’s no corporate dress code or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and emails to get the information we need. We don’t try to sound like we know everything, but we do know our way around a balance sheet. People in Malviya Nagar know us as the place to go when they have a problem with their accounts that they can’t solve themselves. We aren't interested in being a giant company. We like being small enough to actually know who we are talking to. It’s just a regular local business trying to do a good job with numbers and keeping things organized for the people who trust us with their files.
