Lal Polyclinic

This polyclinic is set up on the ground floor of LIG-93 in Sarita Vihar. Being in an LIG flat means it feels a bit like a home, which I think makes some of the neighbors feel more relaxed when they come in. Delhi can be a very fast-paced place, but here in this part of Sarita Vihar, things feel a little more settled. We have different doctors who come in at different times, so the waiting area gets a bit crowded depending on who is seeing patients that day. The ground floor location is really helpful for the older folks who live in the surrounding blocks because they do not have to worry about stairs. We have got the usual setup with a small reception desk and some rows of chairs. You can hear the usual sounds of the neighborhood outside, like scooters going by and kids playing in the lanes. It is a practical little spot. We do not have a big fancy entrance, just the door right there on the ground level. People usually just walk over from their homes. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the schedule gets a bit backed up if a doctor is late in the Delhi traffic. That is just part of life here. It is a local place for local people, and we have been doing this for a while now in this same flat. It is nothing fancy, just a polyclinic where people come to get checked.
