Luggage Point

Finding us at I45 Lajpat Nagar 2 is easier if you look for the landmarks. We are right behind the Old Water Shop and pretty close to the New Man Shop and Bindra Electronic Shop. It’s a busy part of the market. There is always someone walking past or looking for a deal. We have all kinds of bags and suitcases piled up inside. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get new stock in. You have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a trolley bag. The noise from the street is always there, horns honking and people shouting. It’s just the atmosphere of Lajpat Nagar. We spend a lot of time showing people zippers and handles. Luggage takes up a lot of space, so we are always rearranging things to make room. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving boxes from the back to the front. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but that’s just life here. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. My family has always been around this area. We don’t do anything fancy with the shop. It’s just a place to buy a sturdy bag for your travels. We see all kinds of people coming in, some going on vacations and others moving for work. It’s interesting to hear where everyone is going while we help them pick out a suitcase. It keeps the day interesting for us.
