Kec International Ltd

You can find us in Room No 208 at the IMI Hostel. That’s inside the International Management Institute over in the Qutab Institutional Area of New Delhi. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for an office, being in a hostel building and all, but it works for what we’re doing at KEC International Ltd right now. The atmosphere is very academic since we’re surrounded by the institute. There are always students walking around and a general sense of learning in the air. Our room is fairly small. We’ve managed to fit a few desks and our filing cabinets in there. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three of us are working at once. New Delhi 110016 is a busy part of the city, but the institutional area is slightly quieter than the main markets. We don’t have a big sign on the door or anything. We just have our room number. Sometimes people get lost looking for us, but they usually find their way eventually. We spend our days mostly on the computer or reading through reports. It’s quiet enough that we can get a lot done. We don’t have fancy catering or anything like that; we just grab what we can from the local canteen or bring lunch from home. It’s a simple, no-nonsense way to work while we’re stationed here. We've been here for a while and it's fine.
