Just Global Logistics

Our office for Just Global Logistics is right in the middle of Govindpuri, over in the Kalkaji area. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and our space reflects that. There are usually boxes stacked up near the door and the phone rings quite a bit. We started this because we knew the area well and saw people struggling to get their packages moved without a lot of hassle. It’s not a large company with hundreds of trucks. We mostly coordinate things and make sure stuff gets from one point to another. My cousin helps me with the paperwork and we have a few drivers we trust. The traffic in Kalkaji can be a real headache, so we spend a lot of time checking the clocks and trying to find routes that aren't completely blocked. It’s not always perfect; sometimes a delivery gets delayed because of the rain or a road closure. We try to be upfront about that. The walls of the office are covered in maps and delivery schedules. It’s a practical sort of job. We deal with all sorts of items, from small documents to larger crates that take two people to lift. People stop by to ask for rates or just to see if their parcel has arrived yet. We stay open pretty late most days because that's when the last pickups usually happen. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps us on our toes and the days go by fast.
