We are based in one of the DDA flats in Kalkaji, specifically J1/255. New Delhi is a busy place, and this area is no different. It’s a residential spot, so it feels a bit more like a home than a sterile office building. We like it that way at Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. There’s a certain rhythm to the neighborhood with people going to work and kids heading to school nearby. Our space is tucked away in the flats, so it’s relatively quiet once you get inside. We have a few rooms set up for different departments. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day operations and making sure the records are straight. You won’t find any big marble lobbies here. It is a functional space where we drink a lot of tea and stay on top of our emails. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much if you’re carrying heavy boxes, but we are used to it by now. People from the area know us, and we often have couriers coming and going. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't spend much time on decorations or looking important. We just focus on the logistics and the work that comes through our doors. If you’re looking for us, just head into the Kalkaji DDA complex. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like a permanent part of the block.
