Our office for J P Kenny Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Jia Sarai, right near Hauzkhas. We are in Room No 202 at House No 47 A, which is Sudhir Sharma’s place. It is a lively neighborhood with a lot of students and young people moving around all the time because of the nearby coaching centers. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a climb every morning, but it keeps us moving. The room itself is pretty simple, with just enough space for the staff and our equipment. It gets quite busy on the street outside, especially during the afternoons when everyone is out for lunch. We spend a lot of time at our desks, just handling the regular tasks that come our way. Sometimes the electricity flickers a bit, but that is just part of living and working in New Delhi. We have been here for a bit now and have grown quite fond of the local food stalls nearby. It is a practical spot for us to be located. We don’t really go in for anything flashy. Most of our day is just spent answering calls or sorting through files. It is a small team, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We keep things moving as best as we can and try to stay out of the chaos of the main roads as much as possible. Every day is a little different depending on what arrives in the post.
