Interior Craft Zamia Ngr

Running Interior Craft Zamia Ngr keeps us pretty busy, especially being located right in the Rajouri Garden area. We’re at Plot No 11 A, Block No G 19 in the Main Market. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know it’s a total madhouse on the weekends. Our shop is tucked in there, and sometimes it feels like the whole world is walking past our door. We do a lot of small-scale stuff, things you can hold in your hands or use to brighten up a corner of a room. The space is a bit small, so we have to be careful not to trip over the boxes that always seem to be in the way. I spend a lot of my time talking to vendors and trying to find interesting materials to work with. There’s always someone coming in asking for something specific that we have to dig around for. It’s not a shiny gallery. We have tools lying around and bits of string on the floor. My apron is usually stained with something, but that’s just part of the job. We stay open late most nights because that’s when the market really wakes up. It’s a lot of work being in the heart of Rajouri Garden, but we like being where the action is. We don't do things the fast way; we just do them the way they need to be done. It takes time to get the crafts looking right.
