Intercontinental Consultants & Technocrats, New Delhi

If you find yourself in the East of Kailash area of New Delhi, you might walk right past us at 332-A in Sant Nagar. We are tucked into a narrow building that’s typical for this part of the city. The office for Intercontinental Consultants & Technocrats is spread across a couple of floors, and the stairs are quite steep, so we all get a bit of a workout every day. It’s a busy place with a lot of people coming in and out, mostly staff carrying folders or looking for a specific drawing. Delhi is always loud, so there is a constant hum of traffic and horns coming through the windows. We have desks crammed into every available corner, and the walls are covered in shelves with thick technical manuals. It’s not the most modern office, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our time on computers or on the phone, trying to coordinate things. There is a small tea guy who comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when everyone stops for ten minutes. We don’t have any fancy lobby or waiting area. If you come to see us, you’ll probably just sit on a spare chair in the middle of the workspace. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but we know where everything is. We just keep our heads down and get through the projects one by one without much fuss.
