Indian Geotechnical Services

Our office for Indian Geotechnical Services is at B 169 in the JJ Colony of Khanpur, New Delhi. We are located right opposite the DIPSHAR Institute, which is a big place everyone in the area knows. We deal with soil and rocks and ground testing, so our place usually has some dirt samples lying around in bags. It’s a busy part of South Delhi and the streets are always full of people and rickshaws. Our building is just a regular house that we use for the business. It’s not a glass office building like you see in Gurgaon. We have our testing tools and some computers for the reports. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic from the main road near Khanpur. We’ve been operating from this JJ Colony spot for many years now. The neighbors know us as the guys who are always bringing in buckets of dirt. It’s a practical business and we don’t spend much time making the office look pretty. We are usually out in the field or in the back room doing tests. The weather in Delhi is tough, but we just keep going. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just do the soil work that people ask us to do. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in the city. There is always something new to test.
