India Corporate Centre, New Delhi

Our office is down at F-64 in Hari Nagar Extension, right off Jaitpur Road in Badarpur. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and you can always hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open. India Corporate Centre sounds like a big name, but we are just a small group of people working out of this building. The street outside is usually crowded with rickshaws and delivery bikes, so getting here in the morning is always a bit of an adventure. We’ve been at this address for a couple of years. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of filing cabinets that we really should organize better. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist at a front desk. If someone knocks, whoever is closest to the door goes to open it. Usually, it’s just a delivery person or someone lost looking for the main road. We spend our days mostly on the phones or typing away. The power goes out sometimes in the summer, and we all just sit around and talk until the backup kicks in. It’s not a glamorous place, but it works for what we need. We drink a lot of tea from the stall at the corner. The guy there knows all our orders by heart now. It’s just a regular office life in a busy corner of Delhi. Most days are pretty much the same, but we get the tasks done.
