Our place, Ess Nee Management Pvt Ltd, is located at Flat No- 387 in Sahil Appartment. That’s in Zakir Nagar, New Delhi 25. It’s an apartment-style office, so it feels more like a home than a cold business building. We’ve set up our desks in the main rooms and use the kitchen for our tea breaks. Zakir Nagar is a very busy area with lots of people and narrow lanes. It can be a bit of a challenge to find parking, so most of us just take the rickshaws. We do management work here, mostly handling the day-to-day tasks that businesses need help with. It’s not very glamorous. There’s usually a lot of typing and phone calls going on at the same time. The office is often full of the smell of whatever someone is cooking nearby, which is actually quite nice. We have boxes of files stored under the desks because we’ve run out of shelf space. We don't have a big sign outside, just the number on the door. It’s a small team, and we’ve all been working together for a long time. We don't really do the whole corporate ladder thing. Everyone just chips in where they are needed. If the phone rings and the main person is busy, someone else just picks it up. It’s a very practical way to spend our days. We just want to get the job done and go home to our families at the end of it.
