Era Infra Engineering Ltd.

You can find us at 8, Masjid Lane in Jangpura Bhogal. It’s a tucked-away spot in New Delhi, but once you find the lane, it’s easy enough. Era Infra Engineering Ltd. has a small setup here. The office is basically just a few rooms where we keep all our technical equipment and files. It’s a very local feel. We see the same people walking past every morning. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we stay busy with the actual engineering tasks. There’s no big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there working on a computer or looking at a site plan. We do a lot of coordination from this office. It involves a lot of talking to suppliers and checking on the progress of various construction jobs. The furniture is a bit mismatched and the lighting could be better, but it’s where we do our best thinking. We drink a lot of chai and sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit for a meeting. It’s a real working office. We don't worry about looking perfect; we just worry about getting the measurements and the designs right. When the monsoon hits, the lane gets a bit flooded, but we still manage to get things done. It’s just part of working in this part of the city. We keep it simple and stay focused on the project at hand.
