You can find us over in Gobindpuri, specifically at House Number 50 in Goli Number 1. It’s a typical New Delhi neighborhood, very crowded and full of life. Our office is right there in the middle of it all. We have been doing engineering consulting from this location for quite a bit of time now. The street is narrow, so you have to be careful when you're walking or bringing a bike through. Inside, we have stacks of drawings and papers everywhere. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of our time going over technical details and talking to contractors. There’s usually someone coming in or out with a new set of plans to look at. The noise from the street filters in, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting. It’s just a house that we’ve turned into a workspace. Most of us have been working together for years, so we have a rhythm. We drink a lot of tea while we argue about measurements and designs. It’s a practical place for people who just want to get the engineering right. We stay late most nights because there’s always one more calculation to check or a report to finish. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do here in Gobindpuri. The fans on the ceiling hum all day long while we work through the stacks of blue prints we have on the tables.
