Dhawan Glass Works

Our shop is at 140, Nehru Market, right across from LSR College in Zamrudpur. Being near the college means there is always a lot of energy and young people walking by, which keeps things interesting. At Dhawan Glass Works, we deal with all sorts of glass projects. It is a small space, and sometimes it feels even smaller when we have large crates of glass being delivered. We have to be very careful moving things around so we do not end up with a floor full of shards. We have all had a few cuts on our hands over the years; it is basically a rite of passage here. We do not do much in the way of advertising. Most people just see our sign when they are walking through the market or someone tells them we can fix their broken window. It is a bit messy in here with the glass cutters, the sanders, and the scraps that we haven't thrown out yet. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the material. Some days it is just small repairs, and other days we are working on bigger frames. We take things as they come. It is not a fancy corporate life, just a local business trying to do right by the people in Zamrudpur. If you stop by, you might have to wait a minute while we finish a cut, but we will get to you.
