Continental Engineering Corporation is based over here at A 39 in Amar Colony, New Delhi. People often mention we’re an MNC from Taiwan, which is true, but our daily life here feels very much like a Delhi business. Amar Colony is a busy place, always something happening outside the windows. Our office is a bit crowded with equipment and folders, but we manage. We have a mix of local staff and some folks who handle the connection back to the main office. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication, usually over emails or quick calls. The traffic in this part of Delhi can be a nightmare, so we’re all used to the noise and the rush. We don’t have those fancy lounge areas you see in big corporate parks. It’s just a practical workspace where we sit down and look at engineering plans. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles when it’s 45 degrees outside, but we just keep at it. We grab lunch from the local shops nearby, which is one of the perks of being in Amar Colony. We aren't trying to put on a show for anyone. We just have our specific tasks to finish for the projects we are part of. It’s a busy, sometimes messy environment, but the work gets finished eventually. We’ve been here in this colony for a while, and we’ve become part of the local scenery, just another office doing its thing every day for the company.
