We've been down here in the basement at E-166 in Greater Kailash II for quite some time now, running Classic Computers India. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that, just a regular workspace filled with old monitors, half-open CPU towers, and various cables tangling everywhere. Most people find us because a neighbor told them we could fix their laptop or because they need a specific part they couldn't find in the bigger stores. It gets a bit cramped when we have three or four big repairs going on at once, but we manage to navigate around the boxes. We spend our days troubleshooting software glitches, replacing cracked screens, and trying to figure out why some old desktop won't boot up anymore. Usually, there's a kettle going for tea and some local radio station playing softly in the background. It’s mostly just us working through the pile of machines that people drop off on their way to the office. We don't have a big sales team or a front desk person to greet you. If you walk in, you’ll probably see one of us hunched over a motherboard with a small screwdriver. It’s a bit dusty and there are boxes stacked almost to the ceiling, but we generally know where everything is. People come in, chat for a bit while we look at their tech issues, and we tell them straight if it’s worth fixing or if it’s just junk.
