The lanes are narrow and it can get very crowded with bikes and people moving about. Our building is right in the middle of all that energy. It is not a polished corporate park like you would see in Gurgaon. It is a bit messy and loud outside, but that is just the character of the neighborhood. Inside, we do our design work. We have computers and sketches and probably too many empty coffee cups lying around. The walls aren't freshly painted every year, and the stairs are a bit steep. We like being in Malviya Nagar though, because there is always something happening and plenty of places to grab a quick bite. It is a creative space, but a very practical one. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just come in and we are there working at our desks. Sometimes the internet acts up or the noise from the street gets a bit much, but we are used to it. It is a real, lived-in office for a small team that just cares about getting the designs right. It is honest work in a busy corner of South Delhi.
