Alok B Mathur & Co (Ca Firm)

Alok B Mathur & Co is based out of a small office in Katwariya Sarai. Most people around here know where we are, right at 175-A. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and there is always something going on outside the window. We spend our days mostly looking at balance sheets and trying to make sense of the latest rules coming from the government. Our desks are usually covered in folders and loose papers that we need to organize. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office where we do our work and drink a lot of tea to keep going. We have been in this spot for a while now. Some days are quieter than others, especially when it isn't tax season, but there is always a ledger to check or a form to fill out. People come by to drop off their documents, and we chat for a bit before getting back to the calculators. The fans hum in the background while we type away. It’s a lot of sitting and double-checking numbers to make sure nothing was missed. We try to keep things simple here. Dealing with the tax department can be a headache for anyone, so we just take those papers and handle the boring parts. It’s what we do every day from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the printer jams, but we get through the pile of work eventually. We don't have a big reception area or anything, just some chairs for when people need to wait.
