We operate out of the Dda Complex near the Kalkaji Main Post Office. It’s a busy corner of the city. Ajit Tourist Taxi Service is mostly about getting people from one point to another without much fuss. We’ve been in this spot for a bit. Being near the post office means there is always a lot of foot traffic and people looking for a ride. Our office is just a small space where we coordinate with the drivers. We have a few regular cars and we know the local roads pretty well. It’s not a corporate setup at all. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting by the phone or chatting with the other drivers outside. The Dda Complex can get a bit chaotic during peak hours, but we are used to it by now. We handle bookings for local trips and sometimes longer ones if someone needs to go further out. We don't use fancy apps or anything, just old-fashioned pen and paper mostly. People walk in, ask for a taxi, and we see who is available. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We keep the cars as clean as we can given the Delhi dust. It's just a daily routine of driving and waiting. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to read the paper. We just stay here till the last booking is done.
