Agarwal Eye Institute

Agarwal Eye Institute is located in Shivalik, Malviya Nagar, at A-235. We are very close to the bus terminal, which is both a good and a bad thing. It is good because it is easy to explain the location to anyone, but the noise from the buses can be a bit much during the day. We’ve been here for years, and the building has seen better days, but it’s home to us. We deal with eyes all day long. It’s mostly just testing vision and talking to people about their glasses or cataracts. The waiting room isn't very big, so when we have more than five or six people, it starts feeling a bit crowded. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign from the road or a neighbor told them about us. Sometimes the doctor is running late because of traffic, and we just have to ask everyone to wait a little longer. We try to keep things relaxed. There is a small tea stall just outside where people go while they wait for their eye drops to work. It’s a simple operation we have going on here. We don't use a lot of big medical words if we can help it. We just want to make sure people can see better when they leave than when they came in through the door.
