If you look for us at B 82 in Defence Colony, you have to head up to the first floor. We are right near the flyover, so you can always hear the cars zooming past if the windows are open. ABM Travel & Tours has been running from this office for a good number of years. It’s not a huge space, just a few desks and a couple of old computers that we use to check flight schedules and hotel bookings. We have maps pinned to the walls and stacks of brochures that are probably a bit out of date by now. People come in to plan their family holidays or maybe just to get a train ticket sorted out. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, especially when someone’s visa is taking longer than expected. We aren't some giant website; we’re just a small team of people who know how to navigate the travel rules. The office can get a bit stuffy in the summer, but the tea we get from the shop downstairs makes up for it. We know the guards and the other office workers in the building. Sometimes we spend more time chatting with clients about their past trips than actually booking new ones. It feels more like a small family business than anything else. We just like helping people get from one place to another without too much trouble from our spot in Defence Colony.
