The office is located on the first floor at G 44, right on Kalindi Kunj Road. This is the Shaheen Bagh and Jamia Nagar area, so it’s a very lively part of Delhi to work in. We are near the Reebok showroom, which makes it a lot easier for people to find us. The road outside is almost always blocked with traffic, so we hear a lot of horns and engines throughout the day. Our workspace is fairly basic. We have a long desk where three of us sit with our laptops and a few notebooks. We spend the day talking to people about tours, mostly domestic ones but some international trips too. It involves a lot of coordination with hotels and transport companies. We have a lot of brochures piled up in the corner that we occasionally sort through when things get slow. The office has a tiled floor that we try to keep clean, but with people coming in and out from the dusty street, it’s a bit of a struggle. We have a small electric kettle for making coffee when we have to stay late to finish some urgent bookings. It’s not a fancy corporate office. It’s just a regular place where we work. We try to be clear about the prices and the schedules. Sometimes we have to explain the same thing several times, but that’s just how it goes. We focus on getting the travel details right for whoever walks in.
