Aamir Clinic

Aamir Clinic is over at R-20, right by the Hari Masjid in Batla House. If you walk down the Bis Futa Road in Zakir Nagar, you’ll find us easily enough in the Jamia Nagar area. It’s a very crowded part of the city, so there’s always someone shouting outside or a bike zooming past the door. The clinic is small, just a few rooms really. We have a couple of fans that stay on all day because it gets quite stuffy with the door open. We see people from all over the neighborhood, mostly folks who are just passing by on their way to the mosque or the market. The walls have some old posters about health stuff, and the paint is peeling a little in the corner near the sink. We keep a stash of medicines and supplies in the wooden cabinets behind the desk. It’s a busy life here in Batla House, and the clinic feels like a part of that rhythm. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with magazines, just some plastic chairs where people sit and chat while they wait their turn. Sometimes we stay open a bit later than planned if there’s a crowd. It’s just how things go around here. No one is wearing a suit or trying to act like they’re in a big city hospital. It’s just a local clinic trying to help out the people living in Zakir Nagar and Jamia Nagar every day.
