Rusty Rock Labs Private Limited is on Gulam Jilani Khan Road in the Topsia area of Kolkata. We are on the second floor of house number 61. If you're looking for us, we are right opposite the Ashiyana Apartments. It’s a busy part of the city, and Topsia has its own unique character. The office is just a regular floor in a building. We called it Rusty Rock Labs because it sounded solid, but we’re just a bunch of people doing technical lab work and research-type stuff. The space is filled with equipment and some books and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of things. It’s not a sterile, white-walled lab like you see in movies. It’s a bit messy and looks like people actually work there. We have a small area for making tea and coffee, which gets used a lot throughout the day. Looking out the window, you can see the traffic on Gulam Jilani Khan Road and the people going in and out of the apartments across the way. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. Most of us just wear jeans and t-shirts and get on with the experiments or data we’re looking at. It’s a practical place for practical work.
