Guidance Software Private Limited

Our place is on R M C Road in Kodalia, which is part of the Sonarpur area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very much like being at home while we work. Guidance Software has been running from here for a bit now. 47 R M C Road is easy to find if you know the local landmarks. It is a quiet street, mostly houses and small shops. We like it that way because we can actually focus on the software work without a lot of traffic noise outside. The office isn't very big. We have a few rooms filled with desks and old chairs. There are usually stacks of papers and notebooks lying around because we like to scribble things down. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy. If you walk in, you’ll just see us hunched over our keyboards. Sonarpur is a bit of a commute for some of us, but the train connection is decent. We usually start the day with a hot cup of chai from the corner shop. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we’ve got enough fans to keep us going. We deal with various software issues and projects throughout the week. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don’t do any big presentations or meetings. We just talk across the room when we need to figure something out together. It is a simple life and the work is steady.
