Goraitala High School

Goraitala High School is situated in Kachua, which is part of the North 24 Parganas region. We are right in the heart of the 743424 area, and the school has been a landmark here for many years. It is a traditional-looking school with a long corridor and classrooms that open out towards the main grounds. Most of our students come from the nearby agricultural areas and small neighborhoods in Kachua. We focus on the higher grades, preparing the students for their final school years. It’s a lot of responsibility, and the teachers take their work seriously. We have a small library where the kids can borrow books, and the science lab has the basic equipment needed for experiments. The playground is large and often gets used for local community events as well as school sports. During the monsoon, the ground gets quite soft, so we have to be careful where the kids play. The staff room is a small, busy place where we plan out the terms and discuss how the students are getting on. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy slogans. We are just Goraitala High School, a place where local kids come to finish their secondary education. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. Word of mouth is how most people find us, and that’s worked out fine for all these years we've been standing here in Kachua. We keep the gates open and the lights on for every student who wants to learn and better themselves for the future.
