TD & District Informatics Officer,

You can find the TD & District Informatics Officer over at the NIC office in Tezpur. This is where a lot of the local digital work happens. It’s not a private company, but more of a government setup. The building is standard for this area, nothing too flashy. We spend our days dealing with data, local systems, and helping different departments get their tech right. It’s a lot of responsibility because people rely on these systems working. Tezpur is a nice place to work, especially with the hills nearby. The office itself is full of computers, printers, and a lot of government files. It’s not always the fastest process, as things have to follow certain rules, but we try to keep things moving. We have a small team here and we’ve all been together for quite a while. We know the local issues, like when the power goes out during a storm and we have to get the generators running. It’s just part of the job here. Visitors come in with all sorts of questions about digital records or internet connections. We do our best to explain things simply. It’s a bit of a hub for information in the district. We don't have a marketing budget or anything like that. People come to us because they have to, and we just try to be as helpful as we can every day. We’ve been based in Tezpur for a long time now.
