It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but the industrial area is quite organized compared to some others. Our building is a solid, functional place where we process different food items. The floor is made of that heavy-duty concrete that’s easy to wash down, which we do a lot. There’s a lot of stainless steel everywhere because of the food safety rules we have to follow every single day. The air inside usually smells like whatever we are making that day, sometimes it’s savory and other times it’s sweet. We have a lot of local people from the nearby villages working the shifts. The breakroom is pretty basic, just some plastic chairs and a water cooler. We don't spend much money on decorating the office; we’d rather keep the machines in good shape. In the winter, Kundli gets really cold, and the morning shift starts when it’s still misty outside. We just put on our jackets and get to work. It’s a straightforward business where the main goal is just to keep the production lines moving without any breakdowns or delays.
