We are out in Nathupur, which is a village post office area in Sonepat. The pincode is 131029 if you are sending us mail. It’s quite different from being in the middle of a big city. The air is a bit more open, though it gets very dusty with all the construction and the wind. Our office is a simple building where we manage the projects and the local paperwork. We have people dropping by all the time, sometimes just for a chat or to ask about land and buildings. It’s a slow-paced environment in some ways, but there is always something to do. We spend a lot of time out in the field looking at sites and then coming back here to write things down. The power cuts can be a bit frequent, so we have a backup generator that makes a loud humming sound. We’ve got a couple of old fans that move the hot air around during the summer. It’s not a polished corporate setup with glass partitions. We have some heavy wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days. Most of the people working here are from around the area, so we know the land pretty well. We don't use big words or fancy presentations. We just show people what’s available and talk about the practical side of things. It’s a straightforward way of doing business in a place that’s still growing every day.
