We are situated out at Gate No. 2, right by the 40Km Milestone. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it suits what we do at Sdc Agro-Vet. Being away from the city center gives us the space we need to handle our products and keep things organized. We work mainly with things related to farming and animal health. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s an important one for the people who live and work in the rural areas around us. Our days are mostly spent talking to suppliers and making sure our inventory is stocked up for the season. The staff here is a mix of folks who know a lot about agriculture and some who are just good at getting things moved from point A to point B. We don’t put on any airs or try to sound like a big corporate entity. We’re just a private company doing our part in the supply chain. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get muddy, but we just deal with it. It’s a practical, down-to-earth environment. We don’t have any slick brochures; we just have our products and our reputation with the local farmers. When you walk into our office, you’ll see stacks of files and probably a few muddy boots by the door. That’s just the reality of working in the agro-vet business out here by the milestone.
