Satnam Electrical Works

Satnam Electrical Works is out at Plot No. 50 in the Rai Industrial area, which is part of the HSIIDC Udyog Kunj. It is a proper industrial zone, so you will see a lot of sheds and warehouses around us. Our place is basically a large workshop where we handle all sorts of electrical jobs. There is always a lot of copper wire, old motors, and heavy tools lying around on the floor. It is definitely not a place where you would want to wear a nice suit. We are usually covered in a bit of dust or grease by the time lunch rolls around. The Rai area is quite far out from the main city, so it is a bit of a commute for some of us, but this is where the industry is. The building itself is just a big metal structure that gets pretty hot during the summer months. We have a few big fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. We do not have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just have a calendar and some notes about which jobs need to be finished by Friday. It is hard, physical work, but we take pride in being able to fix things that others cannot. We usually sit outside for a bit during our breaks just to get some air. It is a simple, no-nonsense kind of business that has been here for a while.
