Saraswati Happy Modern School

We've been here in Janta Colony on Delhi Road for quite a while now. If you walk past Saraswati Happy Modern School in the morning, you'll hear the kids shouting or the teachers trying to get everyone to stand in a line. It’s a busy part of Sonepat, especially when school lets out and the rickshaws start lining up outside the gate. The building isn't fancy or anything, just a regular place where we keep the rooms clean and make sure the fans are working when it gets hot in the summer. Some of the desks have been around for years, but they do the job just fine. Most people around here know where we are because we’re right by the main road. The teachers come in early, usually around seven-thirty, and you can see them carrying their bags and bottles of water. Sometimes the gate sticks a bit if it’s been raining, but we just give it a shove. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most of the families living in the colony just walk their children over. It’s nice seeing the same faces every day, from the shopkeepers next door to the parents who stop for a quick chat before heading to work. We just try to keep things running smoothly, making sure there’s enough chalk and that the bell rings on time every single day without fail.
