Ramesh Building Material House

Our business, Ramesh Building Material House, is located right in the Anaj Mandi area of Dabawali in Uchana. We are quite close to the Bank of Baroda, so most people find us without any trouble. This part of town is always buzzing with activity, especially with all the tractors and trucks moving around the market. We mostly deal in the heavy stuff like sand, bricks, and aggregate. It is a dusty job and our clothes are usually covered in grit by the end of the day. The yard behind the main office is where we keep the bulk of the stock. It’s not the most organized place, but we know exactly where everything is kept. I started this work because I saw a lot of new houses being built around Uchana and realized people needed a reliable place to get their materials. My son helps me with the accounts now, though he prefers being on his phone more than talking to customers. We have a couple of old trucks for local deliveries, and they've seen better days, but they still get the job done. We don't have a website or any of that modern stuff. People just walk in, tell us what they need for their construction, and we figure out the price on a calculator. It is basic work, but it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk every single day. The weather really dictates our pace, especially when the monsoon rains make the yard muddy.
