Our place is located at Plot No. 460 in the H.S.I.I.D.C. Industrial Growth Center in Shah. It’s a big industrial area, so it’s not exactly quiet or pretty. There are factories all around us and big trucks coming in and out of the gates at all hours. Kandhari Beverage Pvt. Ltd. is just one of the many operations here. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of machinery and people shouting over the noise to get things done. We work in shifts, so the place is usually busy from very early in the morning until late at night. It’s a lot of concrete and metal. We don’t have a marketing department here writing nice things; we just have people who know how to run the equipment. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of the industrial park. We spend most of our time on the floor, making sure everything is moving along the lines. It’s a lot of standing and lifting. Sometimes the equipment breaks down and we all have to scramble to fix it so we don't fall behind. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We are just a part of the growth center, doing our part to keep the production going every single day. The office part is small and mostly just for paperwork. We prefer being where the action is, even if it's loud.
