Our place is over at Plot No. 153-I&J in the Hsidc part of Kundli Industrial Area. It is a big area and honestly, it is easy to get lost if you do not know the plot numbers. Jagdamba Cutlery Pvt. Ltd. has been here for years. The sound of metal is pretty much the background music to our lives. Since we make cutlery, there is always something humming or clanking in the background. It is not a quiet job. The air smells like machinery and hard work. We have a lot of people coming in and out, mostly workers who have been with us for a long time. They know the machines better than anyone. The floor gets messy with scraps and oil, but we try to keep it organized enough to get the job done. Kundli has grown a lot since we first started. There are more buildings now and more trucks on the roads. It makes getting things delivered a bit slower sometimes. We do not spend much time worrying about the looks of the place. As long as the machines are running and the orders are moving, we are okay. It is a gritty, honest kind of environment. We just show up, do the hours, and head home once the day is wrapped up. That is the routine we have stuck to for a long time.
