Honeywoods Hotel And Resorts Private Limited is located out in Village Singhu. We are set up at Ved Singh’s place. It’s a bit different being based in a village instead of a big city center like most companies. Things move a bit slower here, which isn't always a bad thing in my opinion. We deal with hotels and resorts, trying to keep track of everything from our office. The air is a bit clearer out this way than in the middle of Delhi. You don't get the same constant noise as you do downtown. Sometimes a tractor goes by and it's quite loud, but mostly it's just quiet. We started small and we've stayed pretty small over the years. There's no big reception area or shiny glass doors here. Just a room where we do the daily work. We use simple computers and keep a lot of our notes by hand in big registers. Writing things down on paper still feels more reliable sometimes than a computer screen. If someone needs to find us, they usually have to ask around for Ved Singh’s spot. Everyone knows everyone around here. It makes the business feel more personal than a corporate office. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job well and go home at the end of the day. The village life suits us just fine. We have tea together in the afternoon. It’s a simple way to run things. We don't need much more than that.
