I’m based out of Fazilpur. It’s a place where everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing. My setup is pretty basic and I mostly work on my own or with one other person when things get heavy. People around here just call me when they need something done. I don't have a big office building or a secretary answering the phones. Most of the time, I’m out in the field or working from my space here at home. Fazilpur is a bit of a drive from the main city, which I actually prefer. It’s quieter and I can focus on the tasks at hand. I’ve lived here a long time, so my name is just what people look for. I handle various local jobs, mostly whatever comes my way that fits my skills. I keep my tools and my records in the back room. It’s not always organized perfectly, but I know where everything is when I need it. Sometimes I’m up late finishing paperwork or planning for the next day. It’s not a corporate lifestyle by any means. It’s just me doing what I know how to do for the people in the area. Most of my work comes from word of mouth, which is fine by me. I don’t spend much time on the computer unless I have to. It's more about being out there and getting the physical work finished properly so I can move on to the next one.
