Design Dialogues

Down in Kundli, at the H.S.I.I.D.C Industrial Estate, things are always a bit loud. We are at Plot No.133. Design Dialogues isn't some glass-walled office in a city skyscraper. It is a working space where things actually happen. The industrial estate has its own rhythm, mostly involving trucks moving and machines humming in the background. We spend our mornings checking on materials and our afternoons making sure everything is lined up right. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the road outside gets muddy when it rains, but we just deal with it. It’s a practical kind of place. We have a few desks and a lot of floor space for whatever project is currently taking up our time. Most of us have been working in this area for years, so we’re used to the grit. We don't have a reception desk with someone waiting to greet you; you usually just walk in and find someone busy with a task. It’s honest work. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy talk. We just focus on what’s in front of us. If you come by, you’ll see we are just regular people. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the work coming out of here is what matters. We just keep our heads down and get through the list every day.
