Vishwa Supermarket

Vishwa Supermarket is located at Shop Number 3 on Ausa Road in the Deshpande Colony area. It is a typical neighborhood spot where people come when they realize they forgot to buy salt or oil for dinner. The aisles are a bit narrow because we try to fit in as many products as possible. We have shelves for snacks, rows of pulses in clear bags, and a refrigerated section that hums quite loudly in the back. During the evenings, it gets pretty crowded with people coming home from work. We don't have any of those self-checkout machines; it’s just us at the counter ringing things up. Sometimes the barcode scanner acts up and we have to type in the prices manually. The lighting is bright and white, which makes the whole place look clean even when it’s been a rainy day and people bring in mud. We spend a lot of time restocking the shelves because things like milk and bread go fast. There is a small stool behind the counter where I sit when there aren't many customers. We know the regular families who live nearby. It’s a busy life, keeping track of what is running low and making sure the floor is swept. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town, just a place where you can get what you need without a fuss. When the power goes out, we just use a torch and keep serving whoever is inside.
