Vidyadham Pre Primary English School

Our little school is tucked away in Ayodhya Nagar, over in Tuljapur. It’s a pre-primary place, so it’s full of very small children who are just starting out. Being in Osmanabad, 413601, it’s a fairly quiet neighborhood most of the time, except when school starts or ends. The building isn't huge, but it's enough for the classrooms we have. We spend most of the morning helping kids with their ABCs and numbers. It gets loud with all the singing and playing, but that’s just how a kids' school is supposed to be. There’s a lot of chalk dust on the floors by the end of the day. We have some colorful charts on the walls that the teachers made themselves. Parents drop their little ones off at the gate and we take it from there. Sometimes a child cries because they miss home, so we have to sit with them for a bit. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We don’t have fancy computers or anything like that, just books and toys and a lot of patience. The local people in Tuljapur know us well. It’s just a normal part of the street here. We try to keep things tidy but with toddlers around, it’s always a bit messy. That’s just life at Vidyadham, really. Most of the kids are from the local houses right here in Ayodhya Nagar, so we see the same families every day. It's just a small, neighborhood school where everyone knows everyone else's business.
